The project runs until the end of October 2025. We are evaluating the possibility of continuing as long as the need remains and funding is secured.Over 1,400 people have registered, but only a few have secured jobs. How do you view this?
We have sent out over 1,300 CVs to more than 200 open positions. The competition is intense, particularly for third-country nationals who face visa requirements, Swedish language demands, security clearances, general labor market challenges, and lack of networks in Sweden — the obstacles are numerous. The project is ongoing, and we are working diligently to ensure more people find employment. What actions have you taken to assist former Northvolt employees in finding new jobs?
We focus on matching candidates with relevant skills to employers who have recruitment needs. Our team identifies available positions, matches them with candidates in our database, and forwards their profiles to employers, followed by ongoing follow-up. We also offer interview coaching to help candidates prepare for job interviews and improve their chances of success. Why have not more people found jobs in Skellefteå?
Relatively few companies in Norrland have contacted us with recruitment needs. How many former Northvolt employees have been offered employment through the project so far?
